This fact marks a new milestone for the country and the Panama Exporta brand, in the Asian giant.

This export company, which recently inaugurated the largest nursery in Central America, currently sends organic products such as  banana, mango, lemon, avocado and banana to countries such as Germany, France, Holland and Norway under the Panama Exporta brand, and now seeks to open the way for Exporting your products to China. This memorandum is signed as part of the participation of Panama in this important showcase of international trade, which is attended by the President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela , and the ministers of Agricultural Development, Eduardo Carles and Trade and Industries, Augusto Arosemena, who, accompanied by a delegation of 23 Panamanian businessmen, officially opened the Panama Pavilion at the international fair. More than 3,000 export companies from more than 150 countries participate in the business meeting which allow them to enter new markets. “In the pavilion of Panama are represented the government institutions that have the responsibility to offer the world the competitive advantages of Panama, and present the tourist and commercial offer of the country” said the national representative.

“This International Import Fair of China allows us to present to more than 250,000 buyers the facilities and services offered by our country as the great connection of world trade,” said Varela, after the inauguration of the Panamanian Pavilion in Shanghai.

It is important to note that the Panama Exporta brand is one of the main attractions of Panamanian participation within the fair.

It is led by the Ministries of Agricultural Development and Trade and Industries, which has managed to boost the exports of more than 30 Panamanian companies to various countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia .

The strategy seeks to position items such as tropical fruits, vegetables, coffee, seafood and agro-industry in the international markets.

In parallel, we seek to promote the country as an ideal platform for the distribution of Chinese products in America thanks to our privileged geographic position, since we have invaluable logistics assets such as the Panama Canal, the Maritime Hub, the Air Hub and the best network of telecommunications in the region.
